Homemaker, Mom of 2, In my spare time I enjoy playing Sims 2 and Animal Crossing. I also enjoy baking and cake decorating.
Yes it can also jump start a car. We bought it from qvc. They now have one that can also put air in your tires as well as jump your car. It’s not very large and fits in a backpack. The portable air purifier I bought off Amazon also fits in a backpack. It runs off usb and uses a computer fan.

He needed a second CT scan and they tried telling him initially he would have to remove his mask. I pushed back and said why would it need removed when a couple days before he wore it for the same exact test. They aren’t even consistent in the same hospital. In the end he left it on. No metal in it.

Had a nurse ask how we can breathe in the mask. Tried claiming oxygen levels drop when masked. I told her people have taken tests with masks on and no such thing unless they have some other condition that would cause it. Ridiculous that people in the medical field don’t know better.

Told the same thing recently that masks are required in clinical areas and yet even the staff aren’t. Our first appointment they did but otherwise only a handful are complying. Thanks goodness my son isn’t afraid to speak up and will ask them to mask. He is currently going through cancer treatment.

We had brought in a portable hepa filter with a halo charger and a nurse asked what it was and told us we could bring in our full size one as well. So we used the portable one for close up when the masks had to be off and had a whole room one running as well. We escaped infection thank goodness.

My son was hospitalized 11 days in Feb, the room next door had a sign on it warning of droplet precautions and it was most likely a respiratory virus,Flu A and RSV were spreading here at higher rates than Covid. Every door had a box of masks on it and yet they weren’t used by many unless asked.

My son got sick a few months ago. All he had was a headache and a cough no fever, no sore throat etc. He has had the cough ever since. We put an air purifier in his room and it’s helped. He has suffered with allergies for years so I’m hoping it’s not turning into asthma. He can’t take allergy meds.

We mask and I still worry we have had asymptomatic infections. I know we most likely had one early on before testing because of how our physical and mental health changed in spring 2020. I think we got lucky with lower viral load which saved us from hospitalization but I worry for the long term.

I know Instagram and social media can be deceiving but she doesn’t seem to miss work or traveling for illness unless of course she is working sick and pushing through.

Similar to what I think Michelle Obamas book tour had. It’s been reported that Oprah has been very careful with COVID. She even said in that sit down she was scared when it first started. She wouldn’t even let her partner in for weeks. He stayed in the guest house.

I follow an event planner on Instagram and have often wondered what she does to protect herself and others at these events. She does these big corp and govt events and hasn’t seemed to have been sick for as often as she travels and works these events all while maskless.

They probably have updated tests that actually work as well. Meanwhile we are sent expired rapid test kits.

Because they have to switch over the regular candy lines to produce for the holidays they switch over for a couple of weeks for holidays well in advance of that specific holiday and then back over to regular candy. They also have to have time to get it to distribution centers and into stores.

I see looking closer why you say that but next years valentines and possibly even Easter is done already. People don’t realize how long this stuff is stored for.

I agree. I can’t speak as to why she supports them. I just know she posted a fundraiser. She didn’t have the best access to education growing up so I’m sure that has played a role as well as her parents. I’m sure she’s not knowingly supporting a hate group. My sister probably isn’t informed either.

My response was referring to why my niece probably supports autism speaks. She is autistic and maybe she has reasons of her own. I don’t know, I’ve never asked and I didn’t know until recently she even supported them. And I said I know nothing about them except for a few Twitter mentions.

I think my niece is probably just misinformed and also probably learnt about them from her mom. Not surprising unfortunately, my sister is a Republican and supported Trump in the last 2 elections. No idea where she is politically since the indictments. I know Jan 6 didn’t change her mind though.

So much of what I’ve read about Long COVID reminds me of that time as well as the after effects I have from Chemo. Which is why I’ve tried telling people you do not want COVID. Traveling by plane and eating in a restaurant just isn’t worth the risk. We have found safer ways of doing things.

When I was sick with shingles and before my cancer diagnosis I was in bed for weeks at a time. When I was able to get up I was so weak and I exhausted easy. The worst of it I passed out and lost a whole day and night. That was when I knew it was more than just after effects.

I don’t know much about Autism Speaks but I have a niece with autism and she supports them. Maybe they are just misinformed as so many are when it comes to charities. So many support the Red Cross and they have done horrible things over the years, specifically to our soldiers during war.

Too many only care about death and after the vaccine they feel protected from death and don’t look or think about long term effects. Quality of life is more important to me than quantity. If you can’t get out of bed or do daily tasks what type of life is that. I can tell you it’s very difficult.

Yes, even Pink who had COVID bad and was taking it serious at first doesn’t wear a mask in public. She was recently at the largest RV show in Hershey and went to the theme park and posted photos with no masks. So while some are utilizing protections behind the scenes, not all of them are.

I follow his posts on Twitter but some of what he posts and does is questionable.
