From what I can see the carbon tax is being charged on the overall bill and not on the amount of gas used. This is obviously wrong and makes me wonder where the extra money collected goes. It is also a disincentive to reduce your gas use since it would have a minimal effect on your bill

I am absolutely against annexation, the sovereignty of Canada is of profound importance and not to be disputed. But, what our are neighbours and former allies thinking as a nation? The political mood south of us can deeply affect the future

I don’t think that “popping over the border” will give anyone an idea as to what the majority of Americans think. I thought that hearing from Americans was a good way to judge the potential for push back in their country. Trump was not elected on an expansionist agenda.
