the Flames playoff odds entering this week. can't really be too focused on this (i just enjoy tracking it) since it's only November. But a win against the Islanders (or even an OT/SO loss) would be massive entering the rangers game.

the Pacific Standings entering today:
not much change other than Vegas and LA swapping spots again, but there is quite a tight race for the 3rd spot in the pacific. Edmonton gained ground, Calgary is still keeping up with the Vancouver and Edmonton. Seattle is catching up to Edmonton.

this week for the Flames have them playing all their games at home! On Tuesday they'll face the Islanders (7-7-4) who are coming off a loss to the Kraken. On Thursday they will face the New York Rangers (11-4-1), and then on Saturday night they will face the Minnesota Wild (11-3-3)

the Flames went 2-1-0 this week, beating the Kings 3-1. However falling against the Canucks the very next day, the players were probably exhausted playing back to back and having to travel to Vancouver the very next day. After Vancouver they came back home and defeated the Nashville Predators 2-0!
