But I’m worried I will be in pain tonight or not able to sleep. I could not sleep through the night before I started taking the cold medication on Wednesday night. Now I will have to attribute my lack of sleep to the muscle pain? 😭

However, the muscle pain has, of course, not gone away. I went to urgent care yesterday and just now picked up the naproxen and methocarbamol they prescribed me. Now I’m like should I take the medication? My cold is on the mend so I’m not planning on taking the cold medication tonight.

Starting Wednesday night, I have been taking cold medication with 325 mg of acetaminophen every night, and took a morning dose on two of those days. The cold medication has been distracting me from my muscle pain and letting me sleep through the night for the most part.

Before my cold, I had been having muscle pain and waking up in the night consistently three to four hours after I go to bed. These conditions were at their peak in intensity when I was coming down with the cold between Sunday to Tuesday.
