Can I ask how long ago 3&4 were finished being written? I’m just curious if yall had to wait to write them until after you were officially renewed - or if you had them ready to go and just hoped they would get picked up.

Idk, I feel like that’s a longer convo about rep and would really depend on how it’s handled/portrayed. I do feel aro people’s fears about how a storyline like that may be handled are valid, that’s all I’m saying.

And then one of the few characters we do get might not even be considered aro anymore. Like just confirm it one way or another and be done with it. I don’t care what anyone ships in fanon, but to say absolutely NO expectations have been built up is imo a little unfair.

I mean tbh I wish she would just come out and confirm if he’s aromantic or not. Amir very recently posted a faq on his tiktok where he says Viv still considers him aromantic - it’s not all just old streams. You can’t really blame aro ppl for latching on to him when we get SUCH little rep in media

Tbf I think there would probably be some valid criticism if the canon does decide to go in that direction that isn’t just based on “it wasn’t what I wanted”. Obviously it would depend on how it was handled. Idk I just don’t like the idea that all criticism should immediately be hand waved away
