Babies aren't loved for what they know, or how they behave, or how they perform. Babies are loved because they exist.

When I realized that, I realized that I didn't love myself for existing. It was in that exact moment that I began to love myself, for being myself, for the first time.

Security. Love. Comfort. You’re in big boy undies, but no one was excited for that anymore. They were excited for the baby, and babies wear diapers, and are loved and coddled, just like you were at one point
Maybe if you wore diapers again, you’d be treated like a baby?
You’re called again
“Coming!”

Let's not forget "Sleep in Diapers Friday" which you could argue evolved into Big Diaper Friday!

One forum user had every Friday off from work, so would take the opportunity to sleep in wearing Diapers. Made a post about it, and spawned a whole microculture.

Not terribly dissimilar from the APDL discourse lately! Communities evolve and so does the language within them.

ADISC is perhaps notable for being a marked leap in the history of this community. One big, single jump from questionable content to social community. That's important.
