Our three dogs are fed vegan. One of them has leishmaniosis and must live on a low-purine diet. Providing vegan food is the best way to ensure he is well nourished. And the other two as well, of course. Dogs are omnivores, just like us. They don't need animal-based nutrition to be healthy.
