He got a clearance because Trump made it so. The government vetting process denied him a clearance early on in the first administration going through the normal vetting process. A President can give anyone he wants a clearance no matter how high the security threat is. It wasn’t an issue until Trump

This bench warmer needs to be stopped. He never served in the real military yet wants to lead it. He couldn’t even hack the rules the NG laid out for him so he got out. What an under qualified individual where (like the rest of Trumps nominations) the only qualifications needed is loyalty to Trump.
