No problem! One more thing that I'll mention: They spread through rhizomes underground and if they're happy they can spread pretty far. If you don't want to fight to keep them contained, it might be best to grow them in a container.

This is our second year growing them. The first year we got a small harvest, this year we have many many more. We grew them from rhizomes we got from a friend.

I live in a pretty temperate climate and have found them to be very easy to grow. They want a lot of sun, but haven't seemed picky about the soil.

They definitely want something to climb. We put in posts and tied twine between them to let them climb up and they have been very happy with that.

They grow so fast! I swear they grow feet per day some days.

Thank you! It's been a weird weather year but some of the plants are absolutely loving it!

Those are such cute ideas! I know some people get skin irritation from them but luckily I don't, I might steal that crown idea :)

I'm in Pennsylvania. I love them, they look cool, smell great. I'm keeping an eye on them though, I know they can take over if you let them.

I chopped them up and sauteed them with some greens and sausage then mixed with some pasta, it turned out great. I had less to use than you, but it was a decent option!
