he wants to abolish the income tax and fund the government almost entirely through tariffs, thereby delivering the most regressive bonanza to the rich in the history of American taxation. He has said this many many times. He said it *at the announcement* and yet pieces like this just ignore it.

Reagan broke the Air Traffic Controller’s union devastating pay scales throughout the airline industry. Trump will do it again. Why, because airline unions are looked up to as having some of the best negotiated contracts. Trump and his billionaires can’t stand that.

ALPA has done a poor job of supporting union friendly candidates-including presidential-for far too many years. As a retired ALPA member this looks like “too little too late”. The ALPA executive team should have thought about that when they turned away from the only major party to put unions first.
