@mrjamesob.bsky.social I am the Mom of an ADHD child, which was new then in 1984. My lucky approach about everything difficult as "Can't or Won't?" -- then the behavior was CLEAR. You don't expect a Newborn to walk. Or a 5 year old to drive. So many EASY choices, almost every time. Kindness.
