No it's mathematically inevitable that there will be a 2 party system with FPTP.
A proportional voting system would need to be implemented to get around this fact, but neither party has it in their interest to do so (plus it would be unconstitutional).

Agreed, both the Democrat and Republican administrations in the past 100 years have contributed to the transformation of the US government into an unelected bureaucratic regime.
