Bell Centre crowd started doing the wave before the TV timeout. It's continued throughout the TV timeout. And to their credit, the game production staff played no music, did none of their usual TV timeout content, they just showed the wave happening on the scoreboard. The vibes are good.

One thing that I’ve noticed with the Juniors. I thought the officiating in the NHL was bad. IIHF officials make NHL officials look like the gold standard.

Just caught up with the 3rd period and OT. Outstanding game again from Monty. Really looks like he’s turned the corner.
But, Danault on these big draws is incredible. He’s amready had 2 or 3 where he’s won it on one knee. What a steal of a trade he’s already been.

Friends who have/had kids gone through youth hockey, what advice do you have for a parent who played a little bit as a 10 year old?
He’s 5 and loves playing floor hockey, he’ll even watch parts of games with me, and he loves going to games.
I have no idea what I’m doing here.

The kid has always been a bit wary of the ice, he can be a bit sensitive if he thinks he’s embarrassing himself. We were driving home from Costco tonight and he when we passed the neighborhood rink, he announced he’s ready to try it. Proper proud dad moment.
