I've been on BSKY for a while now. I was also on Twitter for 13 years before I started using it. And that happened to be the time when it got awful.
Do they just have nothing else to talk about?

I just listened to 45 minutes of this.. I could probably listen to it for another 45 more. Great track.

'Musik Von Harmonia' by Harmonia from the same era is similarly fantastic.

This list is pretty much upside down in my estimation. So dismissive of latter era-Dan. Two thumbs down.

For years the only celebrity impersonation I’ve been capable of is Nick Nolte saying, “Ah, shit.” Reference film, “48 Hours”.

Beato has trouble examining how non-musicians consume music. He's myopically looking at it from the ace studio musicians perspective where "yacht rock" *feels* dismissive.

THIS GUY IS A REAL PIECE OF WORK (read that in David Lynch's voice).

Besides being relevant politically -- this is a great song with fantastic production with great performances.

I usually like his takes but he’s way off base on this and it does seem to be a bit “look at me!” and old-man-yells-at-cloud. Neither of which are good looks.

This is great! I'm a firm believer that J-City Pop ran w/Yacht Rock and made it more interesting in a lot of cases. I don't know if this is "better" than Josie -- but it's more interesting than a lot of Yacht Rock.

Steve Poraco's story is pretty great. He got early access to new synth tech in the mid-70's. He admits he is not the greatest musician, but he had the scientific aptitude to figure out how program and patch to get the sounds producers wanted. He's one of the reasons why Yacht Rock sounds so good!
