we don't fully understand literally anything. But we don't use that kind of language colloquially because it's not helpful - we understand the important fundamentals of bicycle physics that make bikes stay upright, to say that we don't understand how it works is misleading.

I think libs just interpret "Mamdani seems good but he won't be revolutionary" or "Mamdani will probably be ineffective like AOC" as seething anger. That's just normal caution about someone with strong rhetoric and not much track record.

She brings up her love of Albright really early on in the show. My wife wanted to rewatch the show a few years ago (before my disgust with it had properly developed) and we ran into that almost out of the gate, I had to stop. You have to be politically ignorant to overlook it.

When I say literally fantasizing that's not an exaggeration. The character of Leslie Knope on several occasions talks about her sexual attraction to Joe Biden. Her husband in the show jokes about how his wife would cheat on him for Joe Biden. It's actually mindboggling.

For the entire show she is idolizing and literally fantasizing about the biggest modern neolibs and war criminals in government, Clinton, Biden, Albright, etc. And the show regularly cameos real-world powerful politicians like Biden, McCain, and more. It's cravenly power-serving.

These are the best headphones I've ever owned. Don't think I'll even try another set as long as these are in production, the quality is so good and they're practically *weightless*
