Two separate issues entirely. My point remains - using othering and overgeneralizing language perpetuates behavior like this. But I agree with your point - state sponsored kidnapping and enslavement is despicable and it needs to end.

That data would be interesting to collect. But I didn’t say “both sides are doing this” I said saying “all trump/tesla supporters” is inaccurate and unhelpful.

“All” is an overgeneralization. You can say this person’s behavior is unacceptable while making an intelligent point about how “othering,” by both sides, actively leads to violence and unabashed hatred. Overgeneralizing and “othering” lead to the culture where this is possible.

English 101 isn’t even a class about speaking English. It requires prerequisite English fluency, grammar skills, reading comprehension, writing skills, and presentation skills. Plenty of US-born, English-speaking people haven’t taken English 101 or even a high school English class and do well.

I totally agree but I had dream that he interrupted my dream to bring me “breaking news” and I snapped awake and sat up in bed wondering how he got into my house. He was not there and I decided to cut down my screen time the next day.

I work with a non-profit bringing music to various senior communities in West Michigan. We get grants personally as do many communities and adult day programs that we serve. I will become a public but non-violent menace if we discontinue or lessen services due to this. I’ll have nothing better to do

The fact that tariffs are passed to consumers is frustrating. Putting tariffs on any and all governments that defy him ensures we pay for him to prove he has the biggest *golf club* on the planet. Governments don’t have money, their people do. Normal people in all countries impacted pay for his ego.

Yes! But both have their place. I love to see news opinions from people on sites like these, but I usually fact check or already have a sense of the story from my local NPR station.

This is why we should have never elected a woman to the White House. Too emotional. Even if we didn’t know Trump was a woman until she put out that executive order stating we’re all the sex we were at conception…

7 years of senior care, many of whom are vets. They certainly need better care overall, each VA is different. The federal gov has only just acknowledged burn pits and chemical exposure so this is on them too. Not to mention children of people exposed often have special ed and med needs.
