I saw a couple cardinals earlier this week so I am hoping we get some of those. I'll gladly accept any birds though, I miss birdwatching.

Third of three fruit cakes is finally done! I never want to make three in a year ever again but I learned a lot! I used my Grandpa's recipe. It's a 5-layer plain and spice cake glazed in a coconut lemon sauce. This last one is a half recipe made with cranberries instead of raisins.
