This one is funny bc it's a bigger account just straight up stealing content from a smaller account, but I can't put into words how surreal it is seeing something that was just an inconvenience to me in my work day being used to stoke fear like this. Wild.

The comments are mostly people speculating that Russia is somehow behind it, despite the phone company whose network was affected announcing that it was cause by an error in a software update and not hacking.

What a strange experience. I searched Denmark on bsky (I need to try to keep up with politics, depressing as that may be) and found a few relatively large accounts sharing news about the phone network issues of Thursday and Friday in very alarmist and conspiratorial tones
