Oh dang. I heard about this one years ago, when it was still being published. The idea putting Mega Man in a school life setting with Dr. Wily’s nephews sounds like something you would see in a parody.

Hobbes deserves a good portion of the credit for why I love animals so much. For me, the slightly different inflections with which my dad read Calvin and Hobbes’s voices out loud to me will forever be the definitive voices for the characters, in so far as such a thing can actually exist.

My first memory of the strip dates back to “reading” the collections when I had just barely turned 3 years old. My mom had a co-worker who said her stories about me made him think of Calvin and gave her one of the books. I was about 2 when this happened. I’ve been like Calvin for a long time.

Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite version, but the Patrick Stewart version of CC is criminally underrated! Glad to see that and Tokyo Godfathers get some love! It’s a Wonderful Life is my all time favorite Christmas movie. Haven’t seen Klaus or Die Hard.
