I think it is ok to just feel sad about it. For me, I also think back to the start of the World Series when I honestly felt like I’d be ok if they just didn’t get swept. There is some consolation in all the great moments and hope we had during the series, even if it makes the ultimate loss harder.

I think it’s not the losing the World Series so much as knowing it’s the end of this team. And winning would have been the end of the team too, but you’d have the win to console you.
