Wow, they didn't get 2/3 of the Walker, Rao, Katsas trifecta for once.

So an actual lie to Congress. DOJ really cares about that now and will prosecute him, like Comey, right???
February 6, 2026 at 5:36 PM
Practically speaking, is this even so bad? If I’m sitting in detention, I think I would prefer exhausting the rigged administrative process as quickly as possible so I can get before actual judge.

I’m thinking the MSPB backlog that will never be resolved, but courts won’t hear cases pending there.

Oh they’re not neutered. If their target is of the acceptable sort, they’re fully capable of doing their job.

They’re captured and complicit.

If Trump is entitled to $10b for the embarrassment of people learning he doesn’t pay taxes because he’s bad at business, surely he will offer these victims a much higher sum. Right??

I think ICE had the appropriate response for her - “Do something bitch.”

Great, I’m glad the judges are doing something.

I’m hoping to see an effort from the judiciary to address the pattern of contempt though, rather than playing whack-a-mole on only the cases where the detainee can afford justice.

Which begs the question. Why isn’t he initiating criminal contempt proceedings as well?

Not sure doing CPR on someone with a pulse and several holes in them is advisable, but some medical help would certainly be helpful.

Not to mention, totally ineffective. Dragging an unwilling person out of a car is nearly impossible. The driver has a perfectly designed handhold in a steering wheel, is wedged in a seat, and the person trying to drag them out has no mechanical leverage. Actual cops learned this decades ago.

I do love that they’re wasting their time writing this garbage rather than the more malicious things they could be doing.
January 13, 2026 at 8:29 PM
So, not enough to overcome a veto.
January 8, 2026 at 5:08 PM
Seems pretty hard to rebut a presumption if you refuse to provide evidence. Sounds to me like judge Crenshaw is preparing to just dismiss the case.
December 24, 2025 at 3:08 PM
Is it too optimistic to think reality may finally be breaking through to a few of them?
December 23, 2025 at 8:54 PM
I think they have a name for a leader that can't be questioned... dictator I believe?
December 15, 2025 at 9:56 PM
The should have handled it the first time instead of punting.
December 13, 2025 at 10:11 PM
A field-issued piece of I200 toilet paper is not issued by a judge and is not a warrant. So, in other words, 442 were arrested without any warrant.
December 11, 2025 at 11:24 PM
Do Katsus and Rao have a permanent spot on the DC Circuit panels or something??
December 9, 2025 at 7:11 PM
It’s got additional signatures, so including the DAG, so the court won’t reject it. Pretty crazy that the DAG is signing routine filings though.
December 9, 2025 at 2:40 PM
I don’t get why courts find this so challenging. If the president asserts executive privilege over documents, make the adverse inference the documents are incriminating. Seems like the obvious solution to me.

Unless of course they’re not actually asserting the privilege to protect the presidency.
December 8, 2025 at 11:20 PM
Sounds overqualified for a Trump appointment!
December 8, 2025 at 7:40 PM
She’s putting herself directly in his crosshairs, betting he doesn’t have the balls to hold her in contempt. We’ll see if she’s right.
December 6, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Definitely sounds like PC to me. Unless they have a lot more than they’re putting in the complaint, it seems doubtful they’ll clear the reasonable doubt hurdle.
December 5, 2025 at 12:40 AM
Weird, my energy costs are way down thanks to my radical left solar panels and battery.
December 4, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Let me guess, another 100+ day administrative stay from those clowns?
