Had a similar experience this week sitting in on an AI presentation. They had slides specifically touching on the ethical and practical concerns and then immediately brushed past them as if it was a chore completed so they could get back to showing everyone their marvelous toy.

the way i did it was pretty easy/fast to make too (would have been faster with a hairdryer). it's just super basic paper mache with the top layer being rocky cliff textures I printed out.

I read so many of these fucking things I've developed a whole rating system. I was going to do tiktok videos or something but I might just make written reviews. There are a few I would even consider actually good.

There's one by the guy who made the Elden Ring manga that is literally about an NPC from dragonquest 5 going on an adventure during the events of the game. "How I stalked some dude with an exposed nipple and stumbled upon the Zenithian Sword"

oh god. I feel like I read so much of the Gamer, but like so many webtoons it reached that breaking point where it seemed to be endlessly escalating for no reason and I had to tap out.

I think they're cool when they aren't 6 feet above my roof. Also admittedly getting vaporized is a helluva way to go.

I just think about a few years ago when some dude's stockpile blew up, vaporizing the dudes and blasting out every window in like a 3 block radius. also the one the LAPD botched in 21 injuring a bunch of people. Also the one this year.
