Well, their fake Capitol Police pipe bomber story failed bigly, so they’re looking for the next ‘OMG LOOK OVER THERE!!!’ BS as we speak.
It probably ends (at minimum) with war in Venezuela. He still wants to use the Insurrection Act, too, but he’s being urged not to try that for now.

The problem is it needs to be sustained protest over time. Not one protest every four months and we all go back to our lives. At least that’s what people like Olga Lautman say….

I think it’s pretty likely it will come soon - he’s moving too much firepower into the region just for funsies.
He’s also desperately trying to provoke an attack from Venezuela - he wants this war for the distraction he thinks it will provide.
