I’ve read Brennan; mistaking a structural crisis of governance for a problem of voter competence is the easiest way to stay trapped in the paradigm you think you’re critiquing. Technocratic rearrangement is not a politics.

(A) I’m genuinely curious what, if anything, the field has produced in the last few years, (B) I’m trying to gauge if one of those disciplines is as unserious as I suspect, & (C) I’m particularly interested in whether anyone is doing any serious Post-Schmittian work on legitimacy.
