Yes. This times a million. Insects are a foundation for the animal world. Love birds? You have to love insects. Love flowers? Also...insects. Food? Yep, you guessed it. Insects.

At least the flood of urgent donation requests in my inbox hasn’t started…yet.

Try your local Aldi. Periodically, they have decently priced rice cookers in the Aisle of shame.

Most notably, he's been on topic the whole time. No reading Green Eggs and Ham or passages out of the encyclopedia just to fill the time.

Dude has gone for more than a day talking exclusively about how Anti-American this Administration is.

Ah so pretty! We have a beautiful pin oak in our backyard, who we call Mother, and she is like your maple--providing shelter for shade plants, animals, and humans. (Love the hammock too.)

I'm having some serious shade garden envy right now! Gorgeous. (I am now on the hunt for mossy logs!)

I have conducted surveys for in-class use in my composition classes this and last semester. By and large, the students do not trust the government or the media. They believe both are corrupt. The numbers are very clear--more than 75% of them distrust the federal government and mainstream media.

I no longer speak to the person who spread the infection to my family and me after telling us they were taking precautions. I have LC, and my son developed arthritis post-Covid. The person who gave it to us is fine, I guess.

When the laundry is folded or toys are picked up in the house, we say that Harvest did it. Harvest is a spirit that eats all the extra cookies and completes household chores while we're asleep. My eleven-year-old knows it's my husband and me (in that order), but he still talks about Harvest.

I have an entire alter ego named Svetlana who emerged after Trump's election in 2016. She has a terrible Russian accent, and I would call my bestie and tell him all about the day's Trump news from her twisted perspective. She's back, obviously. 😂

I voice my bestie's grandson's inner thoughts. My friend: "Hey now we don't touch that." Me: "I will if I want to, old man." <--said in a menacing monotone Southern accent
