I visited Kushida Shrine.
Kushida Shrine is located in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.
As the general guardian of Hakata, Kushida Shrine is well known to citizens as Ogushida-san of Hakata.
Now they are having the Gion Festival and a large Yamagasa, or Yamagasa, was displayed all over the city.

I traveled to Fukuoka City.
I went to Sumiyoshi Shrine.
It was a nice place to feel nature in the midst of urban buildings.
There were many wind chimes and the occasional breeze made a cool sound.

This is called a "red ink stamp book.
A red ink stamp is a certificate of visit to a shrine or temple.
Each shrine and temple has its own red seal design.
I look forward to collecting red seals from various shrines and temples.

Visit to Kashima Jingu Shrine.
This is the Japanese Chinowakguri .
In Chinowakuguri, people visit the shrine by walking around the freshly cut thatched grass in a figure eight pattern, left, right, and left. It has been believed since ancient times that doing so will bring good health in the summer.
