@albabycakes.bsky.social As an Icelander I can say that plate you posted on DTD looked VERY Icelandic. 😅 Don't hate on the crispbread though (hrökkbrauð), it just needs a spread like butter or cottage cheese and then you can pile stuff on it. It's common in the Nordics, cheap and stores well.
