As I comment to Trumpettes on rising costs, rising unemployment, supply chain issues, cutting social safety nets, and overt corruption in high places, I'm noticing a common response: knowing smiles and slight shrugs. Fascist government is fine when it persecutes the right folks.

Donald Trump, by threat and coercion, has prima facie nullified the Legislative branch of gov't. He's already got the Supreme Court in his pocket, and with the Senate bending to his whim with the Hegseth confirmation, he's compromised all three branches.
