When we were in this unfortunate situation before, I wore a different Neighbours t-shirt to work every day of the final week. Despite the mild weather, I'm not quite sure it's t-shirt temperatures, so instead, it will be a hoodie or sweatshirt in the lead up to Thursday's farewell. #Neighbours

Exactly! Got up at 5.30 and between cold and cricket was very tempted to go back to bed. By time was on train to work, which had no heating we were all out but life has looked up since I arrived in a warm office Extraordinary day's cricket. England still right in there. Bring on Day 2 🏴🏏 #TheAshes

Had v long day, not getting home until 10.15. Part of me wanted to go to bed but I had to watch today's #Neighbours
I've not enjoyed the Andrew Holly storyline but was hoping that the fallout would make it all worthwhile. It didn't disappoint. Excellent performances all round today. Just loved it.

Light rain the forecast says. Let me assure you that this is not 'light' rain. It is more the kind of rain that makes me hope, it being a Sunday, that the bible reading will be the one where it gives the dimensions for the Ark, though it also makes me wonder whether I'll have to swim to church ☔️

Spent afternoon at cinema watching #TheSoundOfMusic. Amazing to see my favourite film on the big screen. Saw details I've never noticed before, and shed more than few tears (happy and sad) Left cinema uplifted by wonderful music, gorgeous scenery and Julie Andrews. All some of my favourite things.

Just saw a bit of Trump's press conference about deployment of National Guard. He mentioned a lady who had been a victim of crime and said 'she's still recovering, probably not going to make it' Is that a medical opinion? I hope someone had told her family and they're not just hearing it on the TV

We've waited a long time for a win but definitely worth waiting for. Five goals and great team performance, and it takes us above Norwich (for the next hours anyway) which is an added bonus. #IpswichTown

Aaron's departure really moved me, especially Paul’s speech.
Add to that Nell's distress and then JJ's heartbreak, I haven't blubbed so much at a non-death episode for ages.
