The message should be more "Don't bother wasting your time coding in features like this that no one wants." Rather than threatening forks and uninstalling a product that doesn't even do the bad thing y'all are claiming.

I'm not understanding this backlash, personally. The features literally take effort to turn on and force the person doing it to wire up their own LLM. Nearly zero users are going to turn it on, and anyone who does is already bought-in to the slop.
