Both Miami and ND should have been selected; Alabama tossed. It’s ridiculous for Seth to exclaim that the decision to deny the current players (on an easily top 10 team) the chance to play for the championship is righteous because ND didn’t elect to join a conference in the past.

Besides the obvious inanity of this decision, it’s a shame parents have to experience the whiplash of its reversal when a hopefully normal administration returns in 2029.

Biked on a normal workout through Portland yesterday afternoon. Passed within 1 block of ICE facility, seeing only media types, several city police vehicles, and a fire truck parked block away leisurely chatting. Glad the mayor et al spread their “quiet street fairy dust” couple more days

It’s very common to hear folks offer thanks to members of the military in uniform when seen going about their every day activities. Unfortunately, in good conscience, I can no longer do that; knowing that service may have been against fellow Americans.
