I honestly think the world would be a much better place if all religion and religion leaders would have less power and sway in politics and even in everyday life.

As horrible as 7th of Oct was it doesn't change the fact that Israelis have committed atrocities both before and since then. Even Israelis themselves are protesting the behaviour of the government and army.

I live in a so called Christian society but come across the same here.

But it doesn't change the fact that human rights have been downtrodden there and we in the west have turned a blind eye to this horrible situation. Pointing at Hamas while not pointing at the Israelis for their behaviour is duplicity.

I think we agree on many things but probably we will not agree on this matter. I firmly believe Israelis should be stopped and Palestinians given time to heal and have peace. Because of the actions of last two years I am afraid we will not see permanent calm there in the near future.

They have the right to live, no matter what. I sm sorry if you do not understand that.

Have you read the Bible? Because there are really troublesome chapters there.

I wonder what would be your stand if you would have suffered humiliation and loss of freedom for decades like the Palestinian people by Israelis.
And again, no matter if there are bigots among them, it does not erase human rights.

And that video does not prove your point. No one denies the horrors but collective punishment is forbidden.

O, double standards are everywhere. Take a look at yourself and your nation.

And Palestine and Hamas are not one and the same.

Not human rights of gay or trans people, not human rights of Ukranians, not human rights of Palestinians. You do not loose your human rights because your skincolour is brown or if there are bigots and terrorist living among you. A lot of us would be in trouble if that were the case.

Please, educate yourself. And understand, human rights are not up for discussion.
