It distressed him to the core. The misery has been raw and overwhelming and leaving him dizzied, and it terrified Epic to the core knowing it was merely over something so trivial. Afterall, both himself and Cross has had it way worse, for way longer. He should have no qualm with fulfilling the least difficult job he’s had the fortune of being assigned to with a smile on his face, but yet he’s clearly failing at it, even the easiest task. Why couldn’t he just pull himself together?
