We had the privilege of releasing 3 rescued 🦔 🦔🦔
Spring Roll (male), Frosty & Cuthbert (females) all have sad wee back stories, but the folk at Hessilhead nursed all back to great weight & shape.
Hopefully they will settle safely into the local surrounds

I find #mentoring very rewarding, but nipping to the #apiary yourself of an evening, for a quick job is a treat. Listening to all the sounds, smelling the glorious wild garlic & talking to the locals 🐑

The darker side of Easter. Places holding petting zoos with Rabbits . Pet shops & on line breeders selling rabbits to anyone to make a profit (they don’t make great pets for children). Most end up neglected, handed in to rescue centres or even abandoned outdoors. #notjustforeaster #adoptdontshop

Our Programme came to its formal end today. Our last Programme Board yesterday. A reflective session & forward planning with the magic professionals who made it possible. Now transitioning to fully embedded business as usual. It’s definitely been challenging, but also so rewarding.

Yesterday me & my sister made our own botanical infused gin at Defiance Distillery. Really enjoyed the time with her & the creativity. I’d mentioned it was appx 10yrs since I’d done something similar & this popped up on my timeline, exactly 10yrs 👻

Been doing some gentle spring clearing today. Especially where the spring bulbs are coming through & flowering. Love the Witch Hazel in all its subtle but look at me flowers. #springisnear

My day started with an early morning walk. By chance, I happened to look back, if I hadn’t I would have missed this peeking through the trees. It was starting to hail & sleet. Then breakfast & an 4 hour gab fest with a good friend.

What’s the opposite of Happy Bunnies? These 🐰🐰🐰 getting their health checks. They fought me to go in the carrier. Then were the most well behaved loving rabbits in the vets. They ran outside & into their hiding place when home. I will get #bunshun for weeks. Yet healthy for geriatric #rescuerabbits
