What happens to models like almost the whole chaos demons line which can be used in both AoS and 40k?

The best advice I can give is just keep painting. Here's 2 models I painted, my first painted in 1996 and one painted last year. I started painting again in 2016 and try to sit at my desk at least 3 times a week.

I either paint 100 models in a month or 1, there is no middle ground (and it's usually just 1). Anytime you get to paint is a good time.
