My heart hurts for Sarah right now. I think she's just really in her head about this. She's young. She'll get better at descending.

Agh, I'm so gutted for her and Kerbaol - I was really hoping they could both have good rides and podium. It's out of the question for Cedrine now and slipping away from Sarah 😭

This stage is already bananas!

They had to try something! This was semi-similar to the time Tadej said Marc Soler made "scary eyes" at him and forced him to keep going (though that was uphill, not down). Sometimes you have to be more scared of your team than the descent I guess.

She has been a revelation. Totally salvaged the Tour for her team.

He was a beast this tour. I wish today would have come together for him, but so much respect for his efforts this whole tour. EF by far the most fun team to watch again.

He didn't care about his teammate's GC position either apparently. If Onley jumps over Lipo that will have been a really unfortunate quixotic ride from the sponsor's POV I think.

Accurately put him in the young rider jersey too.

Perfect foreshadowing. Also props for inventing that invisibility suit so Van Wilder could appear out of nowhere to pull.

Luckily Ilan Van Wilder inexplicably appeared on scene to safely drag them home. Seriously, where did he even come from?

Van Wilder waiting like:

And Enric Mas riding a completely Movistar stage. Timed the attack wrong. Out too long alone. Completely obliterated by chasers. Movistar always gonna Movistar at the Tour.

I love this for Healy and VPP - I hope they stay away.

He's been a revelation. Where did these legs come from on Mont Ventoux?!? Healy is by far my favorite part of the Tour this year.
July 22, 2025 at 2:27 PM
This is a wild ride from Ben Healy. He really should not be able to do this. This has been an inspired Tour from him.

Maybe not a terrible factory food smell to be around? I used to live downwind from a Kraft factory and it smelled more like glue than anything edible.
