This is what lies behind the facade of Newgrange today. Authentic neolithic reinforced concrete.

This photograph of Newgrange in 1950 never ceases to amaze me. What exists there now is an abomination.

Looking forward to the launch of Tony Murray's Dubs this Thursday in City Hall, Dame St at 6.00pm. The book contains over 230 evocative photographs of Dubliners and their city taken in the late 1970s and early 1980s. With an introduction by Daithí Ó Corráin and essay by Peter Sheridan. All welcome.

Looking forward to the launch of Tony Kearn's Stall Time tomorrow evening in Hen's Teeth. Wonderful photographs of London markets in the late 1980s and early 1990s with text by Orla Fitzpatrick. Thanks to Conor Horgan @conorhorgan.bsky.social for doing the honours. hitonebooks.ie/stall-time/

Incredible funeral invite from 1746 for the funeral procession of Dublin woman Elizabeth Cordiner.

This piece is included in John Lewis' Printed Ephemera but is misattributed to being from London.
