And we live by the IA border, and IA has just-as-bad drivers with the added "bonus" that they seem to not believe in using turn signals on like a cellular level haha

I've thankfully never driven in TX, but I took an Uber and being on the highway was terrifying. Texans drive like they want to die and drag you to hell with them haha. Nebraskans are derpy dumbasses, particularly in the cities. Once you get out in the sticks, it's not so bad.

I like to shake my head and give a silent thumbs down to 1. shit drivers and 2. maga assholes. For some reason, that pisses them off even more than actual confrontation 😂
That and a fervent hope/prayer that they shit their pants in public. Let the chaos flow through you. Harness it for good.

I get that! I've seen the ocean once and that's enough for me. Big water scares the hell outta me, like deep in my guts. The ocean wants to murder me, and I'm not about that haha
I'm a flatlander, born and bred smack dab in the middle of the flatlands, so mountains are inherently exciting to me 😅🤣🤣

I feel like CO drivers in general are just insane? NE has dumb-ass drivers, but not usually aggressive like my experience with CO drivers. If you can, get over to Omaha or Lincoln! Comparable cost of living, WAY better food and amenities, fewer murder snakes, and equally bad drivers haha.

If I won the lottery, I'd move to Manitou or Telluride in a heartbeat. (Telluride is the only western CO town I'm actually familiar with). I love the Springs, but it seems like it's ultra conservative and that's a hard pass for me. I'm already living that life, but at a slightly cheaper rate haha

The Riverwalk was cute, but nothing to write home about imo. Idk much about green chile, but I don't know that it can get worse than CO Springs. Maybe I had a bad experience, but it was like super soupy and tasted like nothing. All the Western historians seem to love green chile and I'm here like 😬😬

I feel like Colorado is a maybe a lie? Like cost of living everywhere is faaaairly comparable to Omaha (except Denver) and it's advertised to us as this blue oasis, but y'all have just as many scary gun-toting xtian extremists as we do, just generally better landscapes and weather haha

For a while, we were considering moving to Pueblo (to GTFO Nebraska) since the cost of living is relatively similar, but then we visited Pueblo... Hell nah. One of the most depressing little cities I've ever seen, and I live across the river from Council Bluffs, IA haha
