My review of Lucy Hughes-Hallett’s new book ‘Scapegoat’ is out now in the January ‘25 edition of BBC History Magazine. The book is a wonderfully insightful account of the life and career of the Duke of Buckingham, and a rip-roaring journey through early Stuart society. Recommend.
