Which sounds wordy but students much more engaged by how Britain was able to assert control. The degree of exploitation, deceit and disrespect astounds them.

Hi Pete. We teach the impact of the British Empire to Yr8 as explaining consequence through evidence unit. We focus on impact on India & China with students researching a west African kingdom for hwk project to present at end. Am going to change skills focus though to causation of British impact.
