Impressive 😁 I always make one-pot suppers because if I have more than one, I inevitably burn something…

That’s why a lot of Canadian provinces were targeting products from red states, eg oranges from Florida and bourbon from Kentucky.

Ha ha ha. Yes, of course we have various accents and dialects. But, having travelled across Canada, I can’t think of any offhand where people actually do say “aboot”.

BC makes some very good wines. We have always bought BC.

I love it 😂 I have long maintained though that we Canadians don’t produce the word “about” as “aboot”. In fact the pronunciation is more like “aboat”.

Sorry, meant before BARRON’s birth 🙄

I get the joke. But, as it happens, the Tangerine Palpatine is himself American, and as he lived in USA for more than 3 years before Barton’s birth, Barron qualifies as American even if his mother doesn’t. (I had to research American citizenship when I was renouncing it, which is how I know.)

I had that exact same experience! I wonder if we were watching it the first time for the overall story and just missed a lot of the finer points?

I wonder what this fascination is with Ivermectin. I mean, do they think it’s some kind of miracle cure-all? 🤔

Sounds like a great idea to me. We HAVE to try something different in Canada.

Right?? It was so good. The whole series AND the finale.

I didn’t know it was split up that way! Fascinating

I am LOVING this show! So entertaining. Also I learn lots of fun Irish slang.

That is one sick burn (and undoubtedly true).

I was listening to a history podcast about this recently. A historian of witchcraft said this was dependent on where you were geographically. For instance, there were something like 25 convictions for witchcraft in Iceland, of which all but 2 were men. I think Russia lots too.

Don’t knock fur-lined crocs! I am literally wearing them right now, and my feet are toasty warm.

That is gobsmacking. I mean, you can’t make this stuff up.
