Goal 1 achieved 🥳 She still needs a proper title, but my Very Rough (VERY rough!!!!) first draft is done. It's more highlighter pen than actual substance, but from little acorns mighty oaks do grow.

3 years ago today I signed up to write my first ever book! Writing Margaret's story was an emotional rollercoaster and it took a lot of hard work to make it happen. I had no idea what I was getting into, or where it would take me, but I'm so glad I made that leap!

My second book, Tudor Princes and Princesses, is due to be released on the 30th June.
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to have me as a guest on their blog, Substack, podcast, or YouTube channel? 🤷‍♀️ Hoping to speak to lots of people 😁 Thanks all x

Next week I’m sending out an article all about somewhere that I love - St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Pickering, just up the road from me. If you’re not familiar with it, I urge you to subscribe and read all about the beautiful wall painting that can be found there.
Have a great weekend!

I feel like more history books should have illustrations like these in Rosalind Mitchison's History of Scotland. Interesting to read too.

At work yesterday and I noticed these books on the shelf in the restaurant! 😍 They're on the shelf as 'decor' but I saw them and asked if I could borrow them. There's a whole bookcase of vintage books that I may have to bring home for a closer look!!
