Possible, yes. It looks like "Guronvig" to me but that doesn seem to be a real place name.

people from the steps of the Court-House in Alexandria in November 1789. I know who 26 of these individuals are and I'm trying to determine if any of them accompanied the Ramsays to Scotland in 1775.

For context, Patrick Ramsay was a Scottish merchant in Virginia who returned to Scotland ca. May 1775, then died in 1777. Virginia seized his property as "British-owned" but Patrick's widow, Elizabeth, won it back after the war. To settle the estate, Fairfax County sold "upwards of sixty" enslaved
