Thoughts and prayers.

If the Bible stories are accurate, Jesus was also a small c communist 🤷

He looks exactly how I imagined, with a vibe to match 🤢

I'm in when Timmy gives us "Brownsville Girl" in five...

As "self made" as DJT 😅

Yes, because I'm an adult in a state that lets people choose what they consume. Many are not accessible in other states where the citizenry seem to prefer their governors regulate their lives 🤷.
December 5, 2024 at 11:30 PM
You believe it's the state politician's role to police that? That's not a "small government" policy, friend.

There are reference links earlier in this thread if you're sincerely asking.

I can read. Thankfully I had access to a quality library. Not the role of politicians to police a school library. Appreciate your concern, friend.

Thanks for providing context for your prior comments. Be well, friend.

Most parents already have that right in the US. But mature parents can also speak to teachers and administrators without making ultimatums.

Or, if not, then they can pull their kid and homeschool them however they wish.
December 5, 2024 at 3:14 PM
Do you trust your politicians more than your own decision making process?
December 5, 2024 at 2:57 PM
Absentee politicians in the state capitol should have no role in curating individual choice of book consumption.

Parents need to parent their kids and individuals need to take ownership of their own choices.
December 5, 2024 at 2:42 PM
Should be an individual's choice at public libraries or the parent's responsibility at public libraries to parent their children. Keep absentee politicians in Washington or the state capitol out of community libraries.
December 5, 2024 at 2:34 PM
So, you don't care for individual freedoms? Even if there was "degenerate material" (which it isn't), that should be the patrons' choice or the parents' responsibility to parent their own kids, not the role for an absentee politician in Washington or the state capitol.

You first 😅

But you have the same critical thinking mind and resources I do. If you're sincerely asking about library autonomy you can find the answer to your question, too.

Not relevant to DJT or his comments re: McCain and his service record.
