Legally, Trump has zero authority to direct that vandalism of a car is “domestic terrorism.” There are specific requirements in the criminal statute that the Feds must prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Unlikely they could meet that threshold for car vandalism. Time will tell.

While I am critical of Trump’s statements on U.S. non-involvement in Syria, I commend his insults of Putin regarding his inability to help Syria because he’s suffered 600,000 casualties in Ukraine and is too tied down there to do anything for Assad.

I don’t want to create unjustified speculation, but it is worth noting that United Healthcare was the victim of a large Russian ransomware attack - computer hack earlier this year which impacted 100 million people. UA paid a $22 million dollar ransom.
