We have that now with expert crafts, which in themselves aren’t “hard” you can get stiffed at points pending how you placed skills during.

Much the case in HW it seemed it was that expert crafting (minus all the funny status) was kinda the normal, which is peak

This is someone with no actual HW era crafting experience, but if I’ve seen some of the people that content creators that crafted in that time, I feel I can say this with some level of confidence

Unironically I personally believe the difficulty of HW crafting lied in the accquisitional nature of items and their rarity.

Crafting has always been “easy” people are just lazy and do mot wish to learn how to push buttons in order
