Personally don’t think the squad is as bad as all that. We’ve hit a wall with the tactics and the defeats against Burnley, Brighton and Forest show exactly how the manager is to blame for a lot of this. Frankly I feel the attack needs replacing bar Okafor and DCL but a more direct approach is needed

Depends who they can get in. Is it guaranteed to work? No. Will it be better than what is being served up away from home. Probably. We have a better squad than out current form suggests. But we don’t seem to play to kill team’s off which is mental. We’re good enough but it’s tactical and always was

Not sure what the point is here. He’s not delivering. It’s the manner of the performances. The speed of transitions, the setting up to defend and basically just not. Inability to amend the system to the opponent, reliance on Aaronson and Harrison and getting rid of the creative player in Rama

Can't help having injuries though, as annoying as it is for a fan. Lads lost years of his career being absolutely ravaged with them. Still remember his beefing in the bench at wolves away with his plantar fasciitis flare up. Lads never been same again since that and the hamstring that season.

Underwhelmed. Very much following the best value / potential value for money route which is high risk. Reward could be that we have assets to sell at a higher value such as DCL or Okafor. Nmecha gets firing and we have a proven EPL 9

Had this conversation on X. We don’t need a 10 per se. We need a box to box 8 who’s creative but also has the energy. In the mould of De Bruyne in a perfect world. Issue is we would really have to pay for it. Le Fee is supposed to be that guy for Sunderland. Could Hamer do that and keep fit?

Am fully aware of some of the connotations of some of the chants but let’s be right, people can have a bit of fun with each other about different parts of life without people getting offended. You’re getting offended on behalf of someone who’s not said they’re offended Mary.

I'm defending it because it’s a bit of a laugh and he’ll likely see the funny side of it. As I said there’s certain songs that are toxic and shit. This ain’t it and you both need thicker skin or you’ll be offended by everything. Feel free to block me or remove me if that upsets you, respectfully.

Think you’re overreacting to this. He seems a confident lad who has chosen his own style. Genuinely not offended by this and like someone else said I’m usually a bit judgemental over these things.

I think this is just a bit of light hearted banter, with DCL being a bit of a fashionista and all that. The Solomon one last season was grim and the Savile chants are proper cringe. Plus the Pickford is a Peadophile chant the other day, it’s embarrassing. But this is just a bit of a laugh.

He was a pioneer of UK urban music and I’ll always love those first few albums. Lost interest in the later stuff but very much think he’s as good as anyone lyrically.

I'm 100% with you on this. A chap I follow on LinkedIn who used to recruit into my industry has stage 4 oesophageal cancer. He said that alternative therapy has extended his original prognosis and in in some way is helping him improve. The NHS gave him 8 months. He’s exceeded that
