I just received my newest #hamradio toy from @sharkrfradio, the #M1KE.

It's basically an Openspot4 Hotspot with a microphone and a loudspeaker. It has the same web-interface for the configuration but most of the options can be made directly on the device as well. It feels very high quality!

Me and my family made a visit to the lovely Dènia a couple of days ago. We experienced summer like weather (23C sunshine and blue sky) and had a great time.

My biggest power consumer in the household is the water boiler for hot water in the house. Now that the winter time is approaching and the sun does not provide so much energy for the photovoltaic system, I thought it would be a good idea to insulate the boiler, so that the water stays warm longer.
