i believe that 90% of shooters in the US are male, i just think dismissing the problem is machismo is a really stupid way of looking at things (as opposed to like, mental illness, ideology, internet culture and material conditions)

idk, this isn't my field of study, but it seems hand-wavy to say machismo is the problem with gun violence when the perpetrator of the subject of discussion identifies as female, and the circumstances suggest a higher incidence of female perps, this is a really dumb thing to argue imo

I was reading the 'list of shootings in houses of worship' wikipedia article earlier and it looks like the majority or a good number of perpetrators in the last couple years are actually female.
