A creator, coder, and writer taking a smart-alec swing at getting a job as a tech writer.

What'll the recruiters say when they see my site?
You should probably pull some of the verts on the lens forward a bit. Glasses lenses are usually slightly curved, a sort of ) shape to them.

There is eventually!

And then you look at it and go "what if I made a sequel?"

It is an improvement. I do think the pop up UI design still is a bit clunky, but it's at least way faster than it was before.

I gotta get back to playing the demo, maybe after you put your UI update up. I was JUST at the edge of the programmy bits where you had the logic going in.

Maybe a hybrid interface? All the options on the left, click them and they populate to the next available space. Use drag/drop for editing, to replace already loaded commands.

So that way I can just go to the toolbar on the left, click down, down, down, right, down,

And it loads them in order.

I think the beginning tutorial is a bit too hand-holdy. I think you can possibly remove some steps there and people will figure things out a bit.

I do wish the UI for adding instructions were faster. I wish I could just drag/drop from available rather than having to click, click, click through it.

The first company that comes along and puts gameplay first, profit second, and values it's players will crush all the others in a blink.

Valve might be doing that.

A big part of it is that they optimized the joy out of it. So many modern games from big studios rely on grindy mechanics and microtransactions.

Every step is just higher costs for more profit.

But they got what they wanted. They got their loot. Now they can screw people and move on.

but yet also a cool greenhouse on the roof. You can move around settings and materials in the same places. Brick next to concrete and so on.

Think of using Painted Metal to break up the gray. Have some levels that are maybe painted walls to add warmth but still be industrial. In other places, maybe wood floors and machinery is a good mix? You can mix up the environments too, one facility can have a dark and gray basement-

YouTube will do it's best to show you more of what you've watched. Try to focus on vids unrelated to news and it will change your feed.

I've had an idea to modify an Astro Docs template to work as a DnD/TTRPG World Template. I think it only needs an actual small nudge to do it.

I think an ideal template would have multiple doc pages for different segments, to be better organized. I think it could be reasonable to build.

We can do a lot with it. There's a thousand ways to build.

Export Obsidian to HTML via plugin:

Then upload that html and basically publish like any other static html, set the GH action to point at Index and it should work.
HTML Export Plugin
Webpage HTML Export is a plugin for Obsidian which lets you export single files or whole vaults as HTML websites / webpages. It is similar to publish, but you get the .html files to do whatever you wa...

Not talented, I'm awful at this compared to others. I've just been at it long enough to make stuff work well-enough for my purposes.

And nah, you won't bug me too much. I figure most of the bare-bones necessities are there and any tweaks you need should be pretty easy.
